Today I want to share with you a song that I wrote 15 years ago (yes, it's that long!) and it's called "Holding on". I actually forgot about this song until I looked at my old notes last year and found it. And somehow, it touched me deeply again so I made a new demo of it. The old demo that I made years ago, it was an upbeat version of the song. But this time, I wanted it to feel intimate and raw, so I recorded it only with my keyboard. And with this new version, I think it portraits some sort of vulnerability and sensitivity that the song contains.

This song is special to me because it speaks about some of the most personal feelings that we can experience when we're in love. For example, the opening line:

When nothing is said but everything is heard from the bottom of my heart...

Can you relate to it? That words are not enough to express everything in a relationship? Especially as an intuitive person, I always sense more of what another person says or does. And it's difficult to deal with the emotion of knowing more but can't express it yet. But in the end, not everything needs to be expressed verbally, and the "unsaid" might be most powerful in love...

Here is the song; I hope you'll enjoy it and let me know if it touches your heart too ;)
