As mentioned in my last post, I'll introduce you to some of my old recordings. So here is one: a demo of the song called Heading for a fall. This song is about being vulnerable in love. And it's also about having the courage to tell another person that you need him/her to catch you as you head for a fall.
Musically, the melody and the guitar rhythm are inspired by bluegrass music. As I wasn't born in the West, there were many Western musical genres I didn't know about while growing up. I learned about bluegrass music relatively late, and somehow, it inspired me to write this song. Perhaps as a violinist, bluegrass music is special to me, especially when I got to know the amazing Alison Krauss.
